Outlook FEDESSA 2023 Rotterdam

We look forward to the European Fedessa Conference, to be held this year in our “own” Rotterdam. This is the conference for the joint self-storage associations in Europe.

Industry report

The Fedessa Conference will see the launch of the annual “industry report,” workshops and expert sessions, and a large trade show. A must for any self-storage operator. We can of course be found with our booth at the trade show where we will showcase our new sustainability solutions. In addition, we have a demo container available outside so you can experience our container in person.

Visit to storage park and opening party

On Tuesday the 24th, we are hosting a site tour to our valued client Storage Zeeland in Zierikzee. This tour is part of the official program and lasts from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Storage Zeeland is accessible from Rotterdam via a scenic route along several Delta Works. The Delta Works are the storm surge barriers built after the 1953 flood. These storm surge barriers are considered one of the seven Industrial Wonders of the World. The way back goes through the port of Rotterdam. For those unfamiliar here; this port is the largest in Europe and was the largest in the world from 1962 to 2004. The tour ends at the Maritime Museum, within walking distance of the Postillion hotel.

Opening Party

Following this, we will organize the opening party of the conference at this Maritime Museum. This seems to be becoming somewhat of a tradition since the 2019 London edition. Everyone is invited to this following an RSVP. However, we have limited space, so please respond quickly. If, as a Fedessa member, you have not heard anything through the organization by mid-October, please let us know.
