Universal Storage Containers is a member of a number of national and international trade associations in the moving and self storage industry. FEDESSA
FEDESSA, the European trade association for self storage companies, was founded in 2004. The federation consists of 14 national self storage industry associations. These together represent more than 1,400 self-storage locations. That is 70% of the total, including all larger companies.
FEDEMAC
FEDEMAC is the European trade association for removal companies, founded in 1959. The board is formed by the national trade associations of the European Moving Industry. The organization also consists of the best moving companies and suppliers in the industry. FEDEMAC represents over 1,600 professional moving companies and more than 27 European countries.
NSSA
NSSA represents the interests of self storage companies in the Dutch self storage market. Certification and promoting the industry’s own identity are important activities. The organization has 27 members, a number that is rising due to the growth of the self storage industry. NSSA works closely with FEDESSA.
CISS
CISS is an organization that represents the most important self storage brands in France. She officially represents French entrepreneurs within the FEDESSA. The organization wants to further develop the self storage market in France. CISS promotes compliance with the European standard and informs and advises the affiliated members about this.
Inside Self Storage (ISS)
For more than 28 years, Inside Self Storage (ISS) has been offering solutions and insights into the self storage industry. ISS provides the ISS magazine and organizes the annual ISS World Expo (the largest trade fair in the self storage industry). In addition, there is a large, interactive online community. The ISS Store offers on-demand education and knowledge for industry professionals.
Belgian chamber of movers
The Belgian Chamber of Movers has been in existence for 115 years and is the Belgian trade association. The mission of the CBTI is to stand up for the interests of its members in all kinds of areas. Self Storage association United Kingdom
The Self Storage Association (SSA UK), founded in 1995, is the leading trade association for self storage companies and suppliers in the UK.
The association promotes and supports the growth of the industry, which includes more than 2,200 facilities and 51 million square feet of rentable space.
The organization has more than 500 members and is committed to a sustainable, self-regulated industry.
British association of removers (BAR)
The British association of Removers (BAR) has been a British trade association for removal companies in the United Kingdom since 1900.
The goal of the BAR is to develop and maintain quality in the moving industry.
The BAR has more than 450 members and also focuses on young companies in the moving industry with the BAR young movers association.
NationalBOX
National Box is a network of independent self-storage providers in France.
In total, National Box has more than 100 self-storage companies as members.
The goal of National BOX is to be a point of contact for both business members and private customers, and to increase sales and visibility of business members through their website.
Sweden Self Storage Association (SSSA).
The Sweden Self Storage Association, founded in 2004, is the leading trade association representing self-storage operators in Sweden.
Today, the SSSA has more than 60 members representing nearly 230 members in Sweden.
The purpose of the SSSA is to protect and promote members’ interests.
