We can look back on a successful fair season, during which we met numerous old acquaintances and were introduced to many new faces. AESS fair, Sitges, Spain

During this March fair, we had a beautiful location for our booth. Our multi-story solution, which is currently being tested at sister company Salland Storage in Deventer, was met with great interest. Spain is definitely a potential growth market, as awareness of the self-storage phenomenon is still a lot less than in other European countries.

ISS World Expo, Las Vegas, United States

As every time, we “do” this great fair with our American colleagues. The ISS again had its affairs perfectly in order in the desert city. Again this year, there was a lot of interest from current and potential customers in the many possibilities of our storage containers. Especially also from self-storage owners who would like to further expand their park with our containers.

SSA Branschdag, Stockholm, Sweden

Fortunately, we were able to combine the annual SSA Branschdag in Sweden with a delivery to Kontain in Vallentuna that took place a week before. During the fair itself, we had a first: 3D printed scale models of our Z-Box with a delicious bee inside, our famous Deventer Cake

The many possibilities we offer with our Z-Box also attracted the attention of interested visitors coming from Austria, Sweden, Norway and Denmark, among others.

SSA UK Birmingham, England

At this busy fair in May, we were able to easily demonstrate ventilation, insulation and the different compartments using our demo container. The various models of the Z-Box in particular are quite unique to the UK storage industry. After all, with shipping containers, it is difficult and pricey to put four different compartments in them, for example. So, interest enough.

NSSA fair, Veenendaal, the Netherlands

The Dutch Mini-Opslag Association(NSSA). organized a mini-conference and trade fair in Veenendaal on June 16. A small-scale event with a good turnout and a pleasant, open atmosphere. This meeting was in a special light this year because the major international FEDESSA trade fair in October in Rotterdam is already casting its shadow ahead.

We were pleased to note the growing attention within the industry to the opportunities that self-storage can provide to establish a profitable business model. A positive development that, as far as we are concerned, could go even faster.

CISS conference, Paris, France

We also attended the CISS in France last week. Maarten gave our presentation here in French which was appreciated by the audience. It was worth being here.

FEDESSA Conference & Trade show, Rotterdam, the Netherlands

The highlight for us this year is, of course, the international FEDESSA fairinRotterdam to be held from October 24 to 26. We consider it a great honor that this time FEDESSA has chosen our country for its annual fair. We are now in the midst of preparations for our presentation. Much more on that after the summer break. Of course we are very much looking forward to meeting our American colleagues, regular business partners and hopefully many new, interesting people in Rotterdam again! Will we see you there as well?
